1. Training Introduction

Short-skills training and practical workshops are designed to provide hands-on, focused, and immediately applicable skills to enhance farm productivity, income generation and sustainable rural livelihoods.

  • Maintaining soil moisture for crops

 

Module 4: Crop Production & Integrated Pest Management

  • Selection of suitable crops for smallholder farms
  • Planting, spacing, and cropping calendars
  • Integrated pest, disease, and weed management
  • Post-harvest handling and storage techniques

 

Module 5: Livestock & Poultry Basics (Optional for Mixed Farms)

  • Small-scale livestock and poultry rearing
  • Feed, housing, and health management
  • Breeding and productivity improvement

Module 6: Farm Business & Marketing Skills

  • Record-keeping and simple budgeting
  • Marketing channels and market linkages
