Control Self-Assessment (CSA):
A Review Course and Study System That Works!
Training Introduction
Background
Control Self-Assessment (CSA) is a powerful methodology that
allows management and staff to assess the effectiveness of their internal
controls and risk management processes. CSA not only enhances ownership and
accountability but also improves risk awareness across the organization.
As professionals prepare to implement CSA programs
or pursue certification (such as the IIA’s Certified Control Self-Assessment
– CCSA), it is critical to understand both the theoretical concepts and the
practical tools behind CSA. This course provides a structured review system and
study methodology for applying CSA successfully and passing related
professional exams.
Purpose of the Training
To equip participants with the knowledge, tools,
and techniques to effectively apply Control Self-Assessment methodologies,
and—if applicable—prepare confidently for CSA-related professional
certifications.
