Managing Audits as Projects
Training
Introduction:
Internal audits are inherently projects—they
have a defined scope, objectives, timeline, resources, deliverables, and
stakeholders. However, many audit teams approach audits more as repeatable
routines than as structured projects, leading to delays, resource
inefficiencies, unclear objectives, and scope creep.
This training bridges the gap by teaching how to
manage audits using proven project management principles—from initiation
and planning to execution and closure. Participants will learn how to apply
practical tools like project charters, work breakdown structures (WBS),
scheduling techniques, stakeholder management, risk tracking, and performance
monitoring—tailored to the audit environment.
