1. Introduction
Free, fair, and credible elections are fundamental
pillars of democratic governance. Ethical and professional election observation
plays a critical role in enhancing transparency, promoting electoral integrity,
and building public trust in electoral processes. This training is designed to
equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding required
to observe elections effectively and professionally across various electoral
contexts.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of
international standards, national legal frameworks, observation methodologies,
and reporting practices, with a strong emphasis on impartiality,
non-interference, and ethical conduct.
