PARTICIPATORY MONITORING AND
EVALUATION OF AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION PROGRAMMES
1. Course
Introduction
Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) are essential
components of agricultural extension programs, ensuring accountability,
learning, and continuous improvement. Participatory Monitoring and
Evaluation (PM&E) emphasizes the active involvement of farmers,
extension agents, and stakeholders in assessing the relevance, efficiency and
impact of extension interventions.
This course equips participants with practical
skills, tools, and methodologies for implementing participatory M&E systems
in agricultural extension programs. It bridges theory and practice, enabling
extension professionals to collect, analyze, and use data for decision-making
and program improvement.
