SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT
1. Course
Introduction
Forests are critical for environmental stability,
biodiversity conservation, and sustainable livelihoods. Sustainable Forest
Management (SFM) integrates ecological, social, and economic objectives to
maintain and enhance the value of forests for present and future generations.
The Sustainable Forest Management training
provides participants with knowledge, tools, and skills to plan, implement, and
monitor forest management programs while balancing conservation, community
needs, and economic benefits. The course emphasizes participatory approaches,
policy frameworks, and innovative forest management techniques.
