Community-Driven Development (CDD) emphasizes
empowering local communities to take charge of their own development priorities
through participation, accountability, and ownership. In the context of
agricultural and rural development, CDD promotes sustainable growth, inclusive
governance, and equitable resource management.
This training program aims to
equip practitioners, development facilitators, and policymakers with the
knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to implement CDD approaches effectively
in agricultural and rural settings.
The course focuses on participatory planning,
community mobilization, project management, capacity building, and policy
support mechanisms that enable communities to lead their own development
processes.
